Our photography club's 3rd meeting for the school year 2018-2019, took place on Sunday, October 21, 2018. On our meeting we discussed about several  subjects: 1. Questions related to the artistic aspect of photography:  Should we add emotions, feelings, messages, symbols, etc to our photos? (answer: NO!).  Should we take a lot of different shots of the same subject? (answer: YES).  Should our photos have several interpretations? (answer: YES) 2. How the aperture of the lens and the shutter speed affect the exposure of the photograph? 3. Practice technical methods as listed above 4. Here we are again! This time, our club   attracted new members, something that made us happy! Of course we played communication games in order to get to know each other.  Firstly, we clarified the differences between fine art and applied photography. Secondly, we explained what are the parts and how a DSLR camera works. Below there are some photos of the meeting:

This was the first meeting for our club for this year. It’s the 4 th continuous year that this club exists. Unfortunately, in previous years, we had not had a blog. This year we made it in order to show our work and to keep something like a calendar of our activities. Better late than never , as a g reek proverb says … As usual, in the first meeting of the club we played some team-building games in order to get members comfortable with each other. After, we took some photos. For most of us, if not for all, it was the first time we hold a DSLR camera in our hands, so the first thing we learned was how to hold a camera when you want to start shooting. Then we set the objectives of the program: 1. Learn the basics of the technique of photography so that we can make correct shots in various lighting conditions. 2.
