Meeting on October 7, 2018

This was the first meeting for our club for this year. It’s the 4^th continuous year that this club exists. Unfortunately, in previous years, we had not had a blog. This year we made it in order to show our work and to keep something like a calendar of our activities. Better late than never, as a greek proverb says…

As usual, in the first meeting of the club we played some team-building games in order to get members comfortable with each other.

After, we took some photos. For most of us, if not for all, it was the first time we hold a DSLR camera in our hands, so the first thing we learned was how to hold a camera when you want to start shooting.

Then we set the objectives of the program:
1. Learn the basics of the technique of photography so that we can make correct shots in various lighting conditions.
2. Get to know the work of great photographers.
3. Learn how to evaluate the photographs on the basis of their artistic value.
4. Think about art issues in general, as some things apply to all arts.
5. Finally, create our own artistic work with shots that we will do ourselves.
